It is a policy of the Carmel Clay Schools that no athlete will be permitted to use his/her own safety equipment consisting of helmets and shoulder pads. The equipment will be issued by the Carmel Clay Schools.
The 8th grade football callout meeting for the 2013 fall season will take place on Monday, May 6th from 3:20-3:45. The meeting will be held in the Bob Weber Gymnasium. All boys interested in playing football for the 8th grade Clay Middle School team next year should plan to attend this important meeting, regardless of previous football experience. Please make arrangements to be picked up by a parent, or late bus passes will be available at the conclusion of the meeting.
Footballl equipment will be passed out on Tuesday August 6th, 2013 at 8:00 AM in the Clay Middle School North and South Gymnasiums. Football practice will begin on Friday, August 9th from 8 AM until Noon. Practice will continue on Monday August, 12th at 3:20 - 5:15 PM. Please make certain you have both a 2013-2014 athletic physical form, parent consent form, and emergency medical relase form on file in the atheltic or main office prior to participation. Any student that does not have all three of these forms on file, prior to the August 9th practice, will not be able to participate.
Those students wishing to attend the Carmel High School Football camp this summer, can pick equipment up at Clay Middle School (Door # 7) on July 10th from 8-9 AM or 5-6 PM from Coach Jeff Naas.

A Parent Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 20th at 5:30 PM in the Auditorium. During this "Meet the Coach" night, you will hear firsthand about the team's rules, philosophy of coaching and the athletics program, sportsmanship expectations, practice routines, etc.
