Working with the Federal Office of Special Education and the National Professional Development Center for Autism at the University of North Carolina, Creekside staff spent the 2008-2009 & 2009-2010 school year incorporating twenty four evidence based practices to enhance student learning. With ongoing collegial support from state and local experts in the field, many of the practices have been implemented in general education and special education classes. Creekside is a model site for educating students on the Autism Spectrum.
