ITA: Good Manners & Etiquette Kingdom
Join us for this fun interactive session to learn social skills and dining etiquette! Kids will learn: Conversation & Personal Development: Introductions & First Impression, Appropriate Behaviors, and Social interaction, Dining Etiquette: How to set up a table, Using utensils correctly. At the end they will open their own restaurant to work in and practice their skills. May 8 - 29th; 5pm; 6pm. Location: Monon Community Center.

The Taste of Solar will be held Saturday, April 28, 3-5 p.m. and features a tour of three east-side Carmel homes powered by rooftop solar. Attendees will learn the ins & outs of solar and enjoy appetizers, sandwiches, and dessert. Professional solar installers will give a short presentation at each home at 3:15, 3:45 and 4:15 p.m. The Taste of Solar kicks-off the 2018 Solarize Hamilton County campaign to help residents learn about solar technology. The tour is free and sponsored by Carmel Green Initiative.

Music Adventures summer camp
To all music lovers! Join us for a week-long intensive music program designed to improve your music skills and learn about composers, music styles, music theory and more! Activities include: Fun music games, Music Appreciation, Musical Math, Musical Art, Learning about composers, outdoor fun!

Sand Volleyball
Enjoy summer nights playing sand volleyball! In this recreational league, you'll be assigned a team and play six regular season games and two nights of a tournament. Chasing Fireflies

 Charity Musical Variety show at the Palladium
Join us on Sunday, April 29th at 7 PM at the Carmel Palladium (1 Center Green, Carmel, IN 46032) for an evening filled with Carmel Clay musical talent including students from CHS Accents and Ambassadors choirs, CHS orchestra and band, and more!! Teen Yoga + Mindfulness
This class is designed for children in 5th-12th grade. It is co-facilitated by our Physical Therapist and Mental Health Counselor. Preteens and teens will learn yoga poses as well as breathing and mindfulness techniques in a supportive environment. We will also focus on positive body image, sleep and nutrition. Dates are  April 25th & May 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th

Bike Carmel Family Fun Rides
Bike Carmel's Family Fun Rides will take place May 12, June 9 and August 11. Each ride will feature a 2 - 5-mile route on Carmel's best multi-use paths and trails and will end with a celebration featuring treats, face painting and more! CHINA & AMERICA: THE NEW GEOPOLITICAL EQUATION For students and families who are interested in China and its expanding economic and political power, come hear Weilin Long on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, 7-9 pm in the Freshman Cafeteria. She is the Executive Director, Global Chamber® Indianapolis and is a cross-cultural collaborator for businesses and organizations. Having lived half her life in China and half in the U.S., she offers unique, authentic perspectives on China and America. This program is presented by the Indiana Council on World Affairs Great Decisions 2018.

Carmel Symphony April 14 Concert

Safe Sitter
Safe Sitter® is a nationally recognized, medically-accurate program that is designed to prepare students in grades 6-8 to be safe when they're home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. Students learn life-saving skills, such as how to rescue someone who is choking, and helpful information like what to do if there's severe weather. The lessons are filled with fun activities and role-playing exercises. Join us this Saturday, April 14th at the Monon Community Center for this great class. $60 9am-3:30pm.

Charity Egg Hunt Rescheduled
Join us for the Spring Egg Hunt this Saturday, April 14th, from 2pm to 4pm (hunt begins promptly at 2:15) at Carmel High School's football stadium (Rain location: CHS Fieldhouse door #17). This event consists of two egg hunts, 23 stations of games with prizes, and more, all for a donation of your choice to Riley Children's Hospital.

Friends of the Carmel Clay Library Book Sale
Thousands of gently-used books, DVDs, CDs and Audio Books for all ages will be for sale at the Carmel Clay Public Library - proceeds are used for library programming. Sale opens to the public on Friday, April 27 through Sunday, April 29 (join the Friends of the Library and get to come on Thursday night!). Friday and Saturday hours are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and Sunday hours are 1 pm - 5 pm. Sunday is ""Bag Day"" when a full bag of books can be purchased for only $10!

"Helping Ninjas Popcorn & PollinatorsCool Creek Park Nature Center; Friday April 13th, 3:30-5:00pm; Students will learn how to help the planet at this event which is intended to create awareness and educate youth about the importance of flowers, pollinators, native bee huts and how to help maintain a sustainable environment. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy popcorn, plant seeds, and help to be a part of the Native Bee Hut Project. Cost is free and event is open to public.
