*NOTE: You do not need to be available to attend every meeting to be a part of the committee.  We also need volunteers on the day of the event. Please email Karla if interested.

Walk Like a Champion

Walking Shoes

As of Wednesday November 8th, OPE's annual walk-a-thon has raised $3,700, which is 46% of our $8,000 goal. Click here for more info!

Background Check

Every adult who works with any child at school (in the classroom, on a field trip, in the media center, class parties, etc.) must have a criminal background check on file and must watch a short video on bullying.  The criminal background check is good for 5 years and is $31.50.  Please contact the OPE office at 848-1918 or hmullins@ccs.k12.in.us to register for one.

Important!

All doors are locked during the day including the front doors. You will need to be given the green light to come in from the front office.

Every time you enter OPE you  must stop and receive a visitor's badge in the office.  You will first need to "buzz in" at the double entry doors.  ALL guests will wear a visitor badge while in the building and then check out when leaving.  If you have not had your driver's license scanned, please come by the office anytime to do so.  This will save you time for future visits.

Volunteering is a way to make an impact on all students in all grades. Helping in one small way can impact each and every student in our building.

The OPE PTO always has volunteer opportunities available! The PTO makes many contributions to Orchard Park that benefit our students. You do not have to attend PTO meetings to be a PTO volunteer; ANY parent or guardian of an Orchard Park student can help!

Click here for more information and to see the many volunteer opportunites available!
